About Luvrokz

My 2015 theme was Love. Early that year I was given a stack of three gemstone bracelets by my mum. One was made from sandstone, one from green cats eye and the other blue cats eye. They looked really good together but the elastic thread was worn. One eventually broke so I decided to source some thread to repair it. On searching for resources I began noticing many different types of gemstone beads. They reminded me of the stories my mum would tell me about their properties as a child. They struck me a very pretty and so I began to order a few thinking what could be the harm in making a few more, after all, I was bound to have some thread left. 

As I made the first few I began to think what excellent gifts they would make and bought more to facilitate that. At the time I had a few health issues and found the design and craft process cathartic. Eventually I had bought so many variations of resources, the only logical option was to continue making them. Friends and family began putting in orders so, a few creative episodes later Luvrokz Gemstones was born!
